I thought it lacked a lot in some places and added unnecessary characters to the story and the songs were just not good.

It’s great really Funny and if you’re Hispanic you’ll find it extra funny and fun

I thought it was great how it showed people who the towns people trusted were a bunch of fakes and untrustworthy people who take advantage. Where one man got revenge for people he knew and didn’t by trusting his gut

I've have always loved the Lion King and as impressive as the CGI is it wasn't as good as i had hoped. These are iconic characters and the voices even more so and honestly the only voices that did their characters service was Seth Rogen, John Oliver, James Earl Jones and Beyonce. Hell they could have gotten the kid from COCO to voice simba and it would have been better. For me it lacked the energy the 2D did. Half the cast sounded like garbage both in song and dialogue.
