A metaphor for the politics of the day everywhere..in reality it's much worse..

Lot of gaps, unconvincing action... something missing...a lot of good actors, material which somehow did not come together.

Self indulgent chewy mush from good actors who appeared completely out of focus. Were they trying too hard or trying too little? Confused why it was as bad as it was, what the purpose of it all was. Certainly wasted my time!

20years after it was first made, still rivets the attention. Fantastic to watch. Sure there is a lot of action but that's what thrills, while the contention is what holds true of life- that it's all an illusion!

Did not like it..wasteful, as one review put it- self indulgent.
