Quitely sat down with my family including my young children to enjoy this programme tonight. i enjoy country life on a beautiful green farm. However tonight the programme completely disturbed me and devastated me to the point it brought me to tears. I understand the intent is to portray country life. However it is COMPLETELY unnessary to explicitly televise the killing and butchering of an animal on an 8.00 pm time slot. Even worse there was no prior warning that some viewers would find the content disturbing. Watching this has upset me and i am disgusted in the producers decision to air this on a cooking channel. I will be further voicing my disgust by complaining directly to SBS and the Australian Communication and Media Authority.
