After completing my playthrough of the game and looking at a couple of speculations of the game's overall meaning and ending I have to say this game is unique, to say the least. Between the silent story structure, quick cuts from moment to moment, and cryptic achievement messages that only seem to tie in as clues to the story it had me stuck on it for a while. While some would say Virginia is a poor attempt at a cinematic came, I believe it does a great job of keeping a feeling of mystery and revelation. The only real way to play this game and get the full experience would have to be one long uninterrupted session. Otherwise, elements can be easily lost, much like a movie, it is better in one sitting. I really enjoy narrative-based games like this, games like What Remains of Edith Finch, Gone Home, Tacoma, and Deliver Us the Moon all make me truly appreciate the art of storytelling that Video Games are capable of. Controls for the game are very simple; look, move, interact nothing more is needed. I believe this game is underrated and if you're into a trippy story with perspective based storytelling, this is the game for you to try out!
