Surprisingly good. I was ready to not like this and basically watch it while I was busy on my phone. However! It’s actually pretty good. Idk if it’s “theater” worthy. But I will say, it’s pretty suspenseful at times and had me watching with anticipation. Which honestly is hard to accomplish in movies these days (IE cheap Netflix films) Although it’s by no means a block buster and the Christian stereotype is a little heavy handed, it’s still potentially believable I think.(spoilers) I was genuinely thinking “oh look, the guys gonna get away with murder again and that’s it.roll credits.” But it turned around and took an original approach to the ending of the film. The acting isn’t amazing, the plot isn’t perfect and it’s a little predictable.but all in all. I’d watch it again. Enjoy!

Ok so this was awful. If you’re a history nut or even someone who likes a good movie, this film will make you upset and confused. Mostly because of the inaccurate props and extremely “Netflix cancer”camera work, it looks like it was filmed in 2000. the confusion comes from the fact that Billy Zane is in the movie. Um hold up, what? Yeah the bad props are excused by the fact that the whole “ghost” (spoilers) ww2 thing is a simulation. But billy?? Why man.. just why. I saw billy in the cast and decided “ oh! If he’s in this it’s gotta be pretty good!” Nope. Waste of time! Shame on Billy Zane honestly. Also for those who care, enfields were NOT issued out to US squads during the conflict. Especially not scoped variants. So. There’s that.

(Spoilers) Well.. it’s interesting. Not quite a “horror” film. The scariest part is seeing gruners noodle flapping in the wind from afar. However, the film does have some pretty cool parts and interesting atmosphere. In truth I fell asleep for the last 15 minutes or so. But I did gather something like, the “tribe” of “ mermaids” were attacking the island because they were missing that one female. I didn’t figure out why. But I don’t know if it really matters. This film is forgettable yet worth a watch. I hope you enjoy!

Well... I was kinda excited at first when this movie was suggested after I searched for Annabelle. I knew the story it was based on and thought “ oh cool! This looks pretty good.” First off. The acting... good lord. It’s so terrible. Also, how long did the kid have the doll before he apparently has like a spiritual connection with it. 2 minutes? And he doesn’t even care that it’s literally the most hideous thing to ever be called a “doll” (insert confused face and hand gestures) literally it’s a pretty scary looking doll. And they didn’t even take advantage of that at ALL. Literally the new maid thought that it was creepy and that’s it. Whatever. Second. The camera work.. what is happening. The cut backs from character to character ruin the takes In numerous scenes. And the timing is all off. Some of the script doesn’t even match up with what has actually happened in the earlier story. Again. Interesting premise and some good ideas. Bad execution. Also too much effect music.
