The author vividly tells the tale of loyalty, redemption, emotion (whether it's jealousy, guilt). The presentation was simple. Easy to connect with the story. The story was beautifully written by a new author with a gripping style. Even transition was smooth. Set in pre-war Afghanistan, it describes the local society, struggle of a refugee. Gives hope for a way to be good again. Altogether, I would say this is an intense heart-wrenching story. An absolute masterpiece was written beautifully, which will not disappoint you. Definitely worth read. It's a must-read book.
