This movie has been reviewed well enough by those fair more equipped to write this review than myself. Having said that, I see myself as a movie buff and I must say this was such an experience. The entire movie is perfect. One scene really stuck with me and I can’t get it out of my head. A scene where young Otis is on the phone with his mom and he’s being the mouthpiece because mom and dad won’t just talk on the phone. He’s being exposed to details he shouldn’t know, he’s screaming and crying and cursing…. it was so powerful as I remember being 11 or 12 and dealing with the same moments. It brought me straight back and I felt something I haven’t in a long time. Cheers Shia, I hope you find peace, I know it’s hard to do.
