every so often i writing tool is invented. things like pacing and arcs are invented to improve the reading/writing experience. the MLA format is not one of them. it turns off creative writers and reduces them to a format that isn't even nice to look at. it's no wonder so many people don't like reading and writing for when they do, we immediately try to suck the life out of them. i'm disappointed.
