Jane Menard

This has become a slog. But it remains an enjoyable slog. I read a little at a time and marvel at the detail. I could write my own life (every day in a journal) and not come up with the amount of detail she packs into a single page, "the cat stood up, cast an evil look at me, and headed for the door...". I've renewed this book at the library and may have to renew it again - it takes a long time to read and I'm developing stronger forearms holding it open.
