Honestly I HAD to write a review, after days and days of reading them really not sure whether to buy it or not - because it is an expensive game I just needed to write one. Firstly, spoiler free. I have been playing it for over 5 hours yesterday, and 9 hours today and I haven’t got past the first main boss. Now, if I was saying this in dark souls I’d be crying, I’d be angry, I’d stop playing. But honestly there’s something about dying in this game that I really, really don’t mind. Like, I’ve died more times than probably any game I’ve played but I’ve never once went to put my controller down in a huff, or shout at my TV like I usually do, it’s indescribable. It’s really addictive. And because the game changes every time you die you never get bored of it. Like I said, I’ve been playing around 14 hours in total so I’m not a professional by any means as I’m still on chapter 1 (out of 5 I think?) but honestly buy it. If you like games such as dark souls/ demon souls, with a little bit of a destiny feel, you’ll love it! I know exactly what I have to have to defeat the first boss but for the first time I don’t really mind if I defeat it or not, I’m having too much fun fighting it as it’s a beautiful game and getting there is so much fun! You will die, but you will smile.
