Prajapati has a lot of layers that the audience has somehow missed out which inturn has led to the lukewarm response it recieved. More than its major storyline involving family feiuds and environmental protection, the film is in fact treated like an episode from the Mahabharata. How the forces of evil are kept at bay by a strong leader who will go any length to preserve the sanctity of his land and fellow men. Though set in modern times, Prajapati can easily be one of those period dramas where a brave warrior is out in the open with whatever he possesses to annihilate the dark forces. Mammootty and Siddique along with the co-actors (particularly, Seema) excelled every way in achieving this.
