Definitely my favorite pixar movie as of yet. It has a simple plot, but somehow manages to be extremely deep dispite that. Also very funny and entertaining, and perfectly underlines why pixar is superior to disney. I feel like the people who don't like this movie were disappointed because they've become used to getting amazing stories with deep plotlines, but for me, it was refreshing to get something so simple.

This movie was just awkward. It had some good messages and even managed to make me laugh a couple of times, but so many things in this movie just made me want to stop watching. The mom, for one thing, is a lunatic Karen with two braincells spamming "my daughter is perfect" and "everyone around my daughter is bad" back and forth between each other. So many elements just feel forced. This gets a five out of ten, but an A for effort.
