Four of my friends and I watched The Nun, hoping for a good scare. Instead, three out of the five of us fell asleep before the end. The Nun starts out with a promising opening, but quickly goes off the rails when Father Burke arrives at the monastery. Rather than providing an eerie plot that builds suspense, The Nun strings together a smattering of jump scares.
