Ignore the negative reviews from ignorant people injecting their biased, anti-black political views into this movie. It was a great, culturally relevent sci-fi film with a good message. The ending may leave something to be desired, but it doesn't take away from an overall enjoyable, bittersweet film. I recommend this movie to anyone with an open mind and empathy for those whose background and experiences differ from theirs.
