Pure grind for cards and forced online play to achieve some. Online gameplay is hit or miss, skill gap in matchups is poor at times, game freezes and funky baserunning needs help. Lag and desync make it impossible to hit enough to enjoy online especially in un balanced matchmaking. RTTS is ok as well as CPU play and offline programs. If you dont let the negative online gaming experience ruin the rest of the content its a good game. Given there are no other choices for baseball it's above the bar, or is the bar...they could've done less with no competition BUT MLB has bought into using it as a marketing tool and Microsoft included it in game pass so there is some sort of accountability for quality and user/customer/gamer satisfaction.

Penalized too much for others poor driving and the reporting/protest system is hard to use. If others intentionally or otherwise crash into you it's too hard to get your points back through their reporting system or grind three more races to climb back (If you don't get doored again). Great realistic sim otherwise for dedicated drivers, I would give the game 4 stars if it were based on the game alone. Maybe they can improve the penalty system and scoring system in the future...I'm sure I'm just a very poor driver though.
