I was apprehensive when I started watching episode 1, it felt very "narrow and claustrophobic", the characters feeling awkward and distant.
But by the end of the episode, everything fell into place with the term "MotherF*****"
It is light hearted, fun on the surface, but it has some serious, mood inducing, current day political satire mixed in to the episodes.
Overall, the dynamic interaction between the characters (especially between Steve Carell & John Malkovich) is the best part in Space Force.
A very human oriented show. No capes.
