I’m glad someone was able to make some creative use of Detroit’s urban blight. Whoever called it high on concept but low on story has it about right. Still, the dystopian imagery is worth seeing despite the clunky action sequences. I watched it mainly to see what the “La La Land” star’s sensibilities as writer-director might be, and because I will watch anything with Saiorse Ronan.
