Shakespeare offers the best tragic stories..the genre of his stories brings sacrifice of the main lead character which connects us to the story itself. Melodramatic sense while reading gives the real essence of the story. If u want to see a happy ending in Shakespeare story then u should read merchant of Venice but other stories are also damn good.
