Bernie Martin

I could watch this every week. No surprise the screenplay is so good given who wrote it but the casting deserves special praise. All the actors are convincing but Mark Rylance gives a standout performance. This is my era. I was 18 at the time of the convention and took a great interest in that and the subsequent trial. A brilliant film which gives more of itself each time I watch it.

Started watching this with no great expectations. Just how wrong can you be. The film passed in no time at all. Memorable songs, superb choreography, stellar acting. It's what Saturday nights were made for. I shall be watching it again.
