Terribly casted. Emma Watson is believable as Meg and the guy who plays Laurie is well casted, but the rest of the casting is terrible. I love Laura Dern but she is no Marmee. And the actor who plays Jo is no Jo at all. Jo is dark haired and dark eyed. But even worse than the casting is the jumping back and forth in time. That detracts from the story and adds nothing but disjointed confusion. I read the book in preparation for this movie and I am so disappointed. The version with Winona Ryder is 1000 times better.
