I thought there were a number of incredibly talented designers in the TV debut of "Making the Cut". However there were too many comics in the production of this show. The banter between Tim and Heidi with the fencing etc. was pathetic and unnecessary. Do more background stories on the designers instead of the so-called completion between Heidi and Tim. Lastly I want to say that the judging for this competition is grossly unfair. The judges are extremely inconsistent with how they apply the rules and requirements. The fact that Johnny won the competition over Esther and Zander is an abomination. THERE I SAID IT. The judges were definitely on the pipe when they made that decision. The fix was in from the beginning in favor of Johnny. He had help from the other contestants (Esther and the designer from Israel). HOW THE HE'LL IS THAT FAIR? BUT FOR THE HELP FROM HIS FELLOW DEEIGNERS JONNY WOULD HAVE BEEN CUT EARLIER. HE NEVER WOULD HAVE BEST MEGAN IF ESTHER HAD NOT HELPED HIM. The whole thing sucked. I won't watch again. I will only continue to watch Project Runway and that is only if they continue to change the judges. MAKING THE CUT WAS A GREAT IDEA POORLY EXECUTED.
