Raw and expectedly ruthless. Fantastic acting by all but the real gem is the masterful acting by Shia LaBeouf. I think he is one of the many underrated actors of my generation. Shia deserved an Oscar for this role but just as the Academy had failed to honor a more-than deserving Leonardo DiCaprio for his many magnificent roles prior to his inevitable win, LaBeouf, too, was tragically overlooked. Anyway, this film is definitely worth a watch!

This series is fascinating, and disparaging, all at the same time. The cruelty of the crown knows no bounds and certainly cannot be bothered with the likes of family loyalty or true happiness. When watching the episode where Princess Diana first appears, I found myself wanting to shout through the TV “PLEASE, STOP! DON’T DO IT!” What a tragedy that was, and what a selfish baby HE was, as he repeatedly crammed Camilla, “the mistress” down her throat. The alienation of affection was brutal. Meanwhile, the heartless live on in Buckingham Palace. 😏
