This is a Classic collection of recipes put together in the early sixties. My original copy is falling apart its been so well used.The cover has come off and the main body is in more than a dozen pieces but I would not part with it. The recipes for Boeuf a la Bourguignone, Osso Buco, and Coq-au-Vin are just the best, in the past I tried other recipes but they don't compare. I've made these three countless times, I even have a very heavy old Italian enamel casserole that is only used for these and a few other special recipes. There are still recipes in it that I am yet to try, I hope I live long enough.
