I really did like this except the crudeness! I think they could have left out the "crude" sex scenes. Leaving some of that up to the viewers imagination would have been better! Great acting...great special effects but I really didn't dig all the "nasty" sex. Kind of like a soft porn series. Oh that's right they now call it "Adult Series"... what ever! I think it promotes crudeness and promiscuity.

This was a GREAT series! So sad about the main actor and his passing of cancer (?) during this series! I was hooked from the beginning! Those Romans were quite crude though! The way they filmed it was on purpose because of the violence...watch the interviews to learn as to why things were filmed as they were and know it will keep you hooked to the end! The acting was off the charts! The women were spectacular!

I LOVED IT! The cussing was way over the top but other than that each episode kept me wanting more! I wished they would have continued the series!

I loved this! I was addicted to it through all the seasons! There is someone on this review board whining about this that or the other but I would guess he whines about everything so don't listen to his review because> yes this is a fantastic series! LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!

My favorite genre of movies is "medieval" and I am pretty particular about them... I like them well written and actors who can actually act. Therefore I loved "The White Queen" and "The White Princess". I'm looking forward to watching "The Spanish Princess" next!!!!! It's wrapped up and under the Christmas tree waiting for me to indulge!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this series. So well written and acted! I can not get enough! I hope they complete the whole series! Uhtred son of Uhtred is my favorite character of any series... EVER!
