Saw it on Broadway and loved it. Is it a usual type of musical? Absolutely not. Is it fun? A resounding yes! More like a concert with some history thrown in. Gorgeous sparkly costumes too! Loved it so much that my kid and I have 2 dates to see the touring company in LA. The only complaint is that it’s too short

The most complex character that I’ve seen on television in a long time, or maybe this is the first time I’ve seen someone written like this. I’m completely in awe of Michaela Cole. 100% recommend this series. The storyline is non linear and she doesn’t dumb the narrative down to suit the lowest common denominator. The audience has to rise to meet the story instead. There is nothing I can write that would adequately describe the love I have for this show and the writing and the actors and the costumes. Just watch.
