In the metropolis, there's nothing like Punjabi or Gujarati because all the class people speak English, eat idli, dosa,chhole bhature, tandoori chcken, dhokla, pizza, burgher, drink coke, wear tight hug jeans, go to pubs and are overtly westernised. There's no sartorial difference. Yes these differences were sharp during the seventies. Not relevant today. Truly amorphous Westernised Indian ? Culture.
