A robot, let’s call it terminator, is sent back to our year from the future to kill a girl witch future is tied to humanity’s future. She meet somebody important to her that will help and keep her safe, and they run the entire movie away from this killing machine until they manage to kill it. Now, is this Terminator’s plot, or Terminator “Dark Fate”? My opinion is that a franchise eventually goes where the audience wants. There’s nothing new or brilliant into this new Terminator, I see every news this movie introduces as a way to bring the terminator franchise back. The ending isn’t different from the first movie, it is just more “feminist”, as the current audience wants. The other changes are forced by the age of the original actors. They needed a reboot, but Terminator IS Schwarzenegger, so might be a reboot, but they needed him (and why not, another character from the original movie) to do a fresh restart. It’s not a bad movie, it’s very well done but it’s just “already seen” and, honestly, I think they should stop writing one single movie and jot the next 5 with a great plot linking them together. Moral: go and see for yourself, but I don’t think you’ll want watch it twice (while I’ve seen the first one oh.. some many times!!)
