I was bored and annoyed with all the singing. I don't mind a few songs but this was overkill! I wish there was more talking. I didn't connect with any of the characters because there were too many overlapping situations. Plus, it really did not depict my dominican culture. Barely no dominican actors, no merengue, bachata music, no 181st habicuelas con dulce or other dominican hotspots in the heights. And people always travel to DR in the summers.. They didn't do well with this movie.. I had to fast forward some scenes.. Don't waste your money on this. P.S. Even Marc Anthony shows up in the movie and he is not dominican, smh..
