At times this documentary was irritating. I believe that was intentional. Each client was wrapped up in themselves, yet keenly aware of the thought and opinions or judgement of the others in group therapy. The "breakthroughs" happened at different times for each person. Is part of the healing process for yourself the ability to care for others? Empathy. Sympathy. As each client ebbed and flowed in their personal healing, I grew in my caring for them. I have two sisters, a wife, a mom and many many female friends. Although the group transcends gender, it is still dominantly female. An interesting amalgam of the female psyche, but certainly easily relatable to the male psyche. Well done!
