All Hail is Norma Jean at their most powerful
The searing vocals, gritty guitar riffs, and grungy atmosphere that Norma Jean portray in All Hail is their best work yet. The album is a beautiful concept piece that is clearly broken into 3 segments, with instrumental songs slicing between chapters. The progression of Cory Brandon's voice from Redeemer to All Hail is on full display. His ability to conjure raw emotion and channel it into a finely tuned vocal performance makes this a hard to miss album. This album feels new. It feels experimental. Give it a few listens all the way through, and I promise you won't have anything to compare it to, because Norma Jean refuses to be bound by a genre or pre-existing concept.
