Pleasantly surprised. Probably my favorite adaptation of Persuasion! And you cannot persuade me otherwise. It's called an ADAPTATION for a reason. I normally despise talking to camera -However! This time it actually (surprisingly) made me feel more connected to the story. Unlike just writing in your journal and doing a voiceover to the viewers. I genuinely enjoyed the changes. Mary was more funny than just annoying, I didn't want to slap Mr. Elliott's character, the scenery and music was beautiful, and I felt the anguish from Dakota Johnson. By the end of the film I was actually crying. I don't know what I was expecting. But it certainly wasn't that! Bravo!

What a beautiful series. I loved Season ONE and helped join the campaign to "save" the series after it was prematurely cancelled. Season TWO is the transition season. A wonderful continuation of the series. Season 2 has many of the retuning cast. I love Georgiana's storyline this season so much more. Arthur is brilliant as always. I love his role this season as well. Rose Williams as Charlotte Heywood does an amazing job taking us on an emotional journey throughout the season. You can feel her performance through the screen. So much to say! But I don't want to give away spoilers. The entire cast and crew hit it out of the park this season! Everyone brought their A game. The colors are so vibrant, the music is beautiful, dancing is spectacular, costumes are stunning and the regency drama/romance is on full blast. I can't wait for Season 3!
