I don't understand the bad reviews. This remake was amazing. The visuals are beautifully done. The music and acting are top-notch. The story was very close to the original with a few minor changes. It was everything I hoped for and more! My only complaint is that they left out the chef scene and the song Les poisson.

It’s a train wreck but I love it! Super funny. All the parts that had me thinking “no way this part is real” were the parts that were in fact the parts based more in truth. A little sad Pam has to relive this situation and I feel a little awkward for her kids but I will still be tuning in.

The first episode I would give 5 stars. It was a great, timeless adaptation. The characters and acting were fantastic. The second was pretty good too (maybe 3 1/2-4 stars). It was good but something felt a little off. The 3rd fell way short though. I would say 3 stars. Some of the plot was interesting, but it was very anticlimactic.
