you can say one thing for the inimitable Ms. Tucker....you will never find a more authentic being on the face of the earth. i felt her anxiety in coming back after two decades and i was absolutely shocked to my core to hear she had never received a grammy until "flowers!" All the iconic, unforgettable songs she gave to all of us to attach to our own memories. I saw her when she was 13 in a little town in michigan. i was only 15. the emotion she brings to her melodic story telling is "pure country." hell, flowers made me want to make up with everyone and make each and every moment count. that's what kind of influence tanya tucker has had on me all my life. she's fierce and unapologetic, as she should be. she owes no one. she will reach her own personal milestones on her terms. she knows what she is doing.... and her daughters. oh don't get me started. those women are exactly the face of not only country, but womanhood as a whole. strong, beautiful, uber talented and God fearing. He will always be there for Tanya Tucker and her gorgeous girls. Stay the course ladies and carry on. See you when I can.
