Loved this miniseries. Loved the book as well. Greatly admire President Grant. The actor portrayed him so well. Want to watch it again. Such a shame President Lincoln was assassinated. Our country would be different now. He would have been the South's best friend. I believe race relations would have developed differently. Such a shame.
