It was no surprise theme from Ari Aster after his famous work of HEREDITARY. After watching both the movies I have to say that his obsession with occult cultures and mysteries is beyond any measure. Since I had an experience from watching HEREDITARY I knew the way this movie was going to progress and end. So it was not so surprising for me. For people who have watched HEREDITARY and disliked it and also for people like me, who doesn't like unfortunate endings I would not suggest this movie. I would say that it was very disturbing to watch and unpleasant too. Nyone can come up with a bizzare ritual and present it on the basis of culture without any reasonable explanation or logic. So I would say he has repeated that. He has as always tried to create a mysterious atmosphere that I agree. But this movie was just a trite experience from him.

Utter waste of time..
