For all the hype, it just doesn’t work and is below average fare. Uninteresting dialogue, actors who appear to be taking part in completely different shows (thriller, intelligent drama, comedy?), a cliche-ridden plot (man who can’t remember who he is and has to find out, has been done to death, much better than this by the way), annoyingly crass Aussie / wilderness music and sound design. If you want a good, stylish drama from recent years that actually has something to say about the times we live in dig out Mare of Easttown, The Night Manager or Roadkill.
