In a season where movies with Political agendas are being overrated and hyped, I feel somehow the appreciation for "Why Cheat India" got heavily suppressed.
It's a movie one of its kind, with a very different narrative showing the reality of admission process in our system, showing the chain of illegal and unethical ways to get through, but at the same time the movie neither labels it right nor wrong completely. The decision of deciding the rights and wrongs is very beautifully left for the audience.
But yess, some scenes were placed in such a way that it was slightly difficult to understand as to what exactly is happening, for a person who has no knowledge about this skewed business.
Emraan Hashmi has done pure justice to the character and has acted marvelously. In fact, it would not be wrong to say that the movie could have crashed badly if any other actor would have been casted for his role.
Shreya is a fresh face in the movie with promising skills. Songs and music is nice.
Overall I think it's a good Family movie with strong acting and fresh narrative. If not more, it can be watched once atleast.
