Every time i watch the movie its something different. For a long time i only saw the life of Charlie, coz most of the time i would connect more to him. But the last time i watched it i learned to see what Charlie saw, the pain in the the life of everyone else.
The perks will connect to you in different levels, with different characters. You learn about pain, mostly not physical, and love; despite feeling the pain inside at the same time. The need to be there for them, you forget about yourself. I'm sure we've all been there, and called it "love".
Charlie makes you aware of it and makes you realize that it's okay to feel like that, and that you are not alone. But what is more important is that you learn to love and accept yourself despite it all.
Also that isn't as easy as said, you see Charlie's journey from suffering from a guilt, to realizing that he was actually the victim, to accepting what happened to him and to allowing himself to feel belonged and alive.
