First off, it's very important to note that there are two entirely different versions of this movie. There's the one that got released in far more theaters, called London Fields - and then there's London Fields, The Director's Cut, which is a far superior film in every way. It's a dark, multi-layered psychedelic noir masterpiece that faithfully captures the tone and messages in Martin Amis' novel, while clearly imprinting it with the stamp of visionary director Mathew Cullen. It's a shame that the producers released the other version first, which explains all the bad reviews you're seeing. Don't believe them - SEE THE DIRECTOR'S CUT!
