Selma Hayek’s acting was superlative, as ever, and Luke Wilson did a truly admirable job as well. But the storyline itself stunk to high heaven! I mean, it was truly absurd. Disjointed, impossible to make heads or tails of. Nonsensical, is it trying to be a fantasy, a drug trip, a fever dream, because it’s not fitting in to any of those categories and it makes no sense. By the end, I just wanted it to be done. And that is not fair for these two fine performers.
