So. Many. Plotholes. It got completely lost from the first book. Juliette/Ella's character development was essentially erased, and even the ending leaves an unsatisfying aftertaste. The main romance (the point we had JUST reached after novel after novel) is barely tangible, as the two protagonists spend minimal time together. Also- why Kenji's perspective? Why the hell didn't we see Warner's perspective? That would have been SO much more interesting. Kenji is a great character, but his inclusion as as a main P.O.V. for the novel was nonsensical and distracting.
