A promising beginning fades when it becomes obvious that movie doesn't know if it is supposed to be battle of wits, a revenge story, or a black comedy, and consequently it fails at all of them. Throw in some odd attempts at slapstick, big plot holes, inconsistent character development (sorry, but once you make a character truly despicable, you can't turn her into an anti-hero) , and when you see the writing on the wall, you skip through the rest to find out that yes, the movie is just as unsatisfying as you feared it was becoming.
