Don’t really understand how some people liked the movie so much. Someone even dared to say that they enjoyed it more than Endgame, which is laughable. Gal Gadot does an excellent job, however the movie itself is extremely cheesy. Awful storyline. The Maxwell Lord character was not well developed, and therefore you don’t really get to understand his motivations quite well until the very end of the movie. The Cheetah character is extremely underused. You don’t really get to see her completely transformed until the end of the movie, and the fight scene between her and WW was extremely short. They could’ve done so much more with this character. Oh, and poor Steve is but a shell of himself (from previous movie). Way too many cringing moments. Mall scene was cheesy (no need to elaborate). The plane flying through fireworks just so they can see them up close... um, completely unsafe. Could’ve brought the plane down for the dumbest reason, but sure, go for it. Steve (a pilot) tells WW that flying is knowing how to catch the wind... sure it’s just that simple. Sooo, WW remembers this after jumping into the air in another scene and apparently it’s as simple as spreading your arms to catch the wind. No aerodynamics needed. Just spread your arms and you’ll be able to glide. No problem. Just silly. I had high hopes after watching the first one (loved it), but was extremely disappointed with the second installment. The acting was not the problem. The story was just way off. No amount of good acting or CGI could’ve overcome it.
