Jeff Sevens – Google

This is a solid record for many reasons 1) LL has never been sharper lyrically 2) Qtip delivered on the production 3) it’s sonically progressive and the content is fearless in its brash honesty ( the frustration on Spirit of Cyrus is genuine ) 4) solid roster of guests and a nice balance of solo cuts and features. Black Code Suite and Praise Him featuring Nas in rarer than normal form are standouts for me.

…really like a 7 of 10 for me. The cast was great and did well but way too much comedy shoe-horned in there to the point it weakened the dramatic beats. Salute for the attempt at combining 2 epic plot lines from the comics, but buffering them w an entire other movie worth of comedy wasn’t the move. Christian Bale worked well with the screen time given and it was Great seeing Jane Foster again, hoping we get Thor 5 but I doubt it, and maybe that’s why this was so riddled with humor to make sure Thor went out on a light note.
