The actual “storyline” could have been told in about 40 minutes.
Instead, the director wasted so much time with “slow walks”, freeze frames, and multiple semi-sex scenes, this “movie” became painful to watch. Especially since it dragged on for 2 hours and 11 minutes!
And the constant time-jumping from present day, then going back 15 years, then forward 3 years, then coming back to now, then back 8 years…no, I’m not exaggerating…was beyond annoying.
None of the 3 main characters had any redeeming qualities. I truly didn’t care one way or the other about how it ended and who ended up with whom.
Save your cash, and more importantly, your time, and skip this stinker.
