The actual “storyline” could have been told in about 40 minutes. Instead, the director wasted so much time with “slow walks”, freeze frames, and multiple semi-sex scenes, this “movie” became painful to watch. Especially since it dragged on for 2 hours and 11 minutes! And the constant time-jumping from present day, then going back 15 years, then forward 3 years, then coming back to now, then back 8 years…no, I’m not exaggerating…was beyond annoying. None of the 3 main characters had any redeeming qualities. I truly didn’t care one way or the other about how it ended and who ended up with whom. Save your cash, and more importantly, your time, and skip this stinker.

It took a sharp right turn into absurdity about 2/3 of the way in and completely lost the audience. Awful. Almost turned it off entirely. I watched, waited and hoped it would redeem itself. It didn’t. What a waste of Dianne Weist’s talents.
