The concept of the book is fascinating especially "The Dark Forest" hypothesis to explain the Fermi paradox. However, it is very long and tedious to read. I find the Hyperion series by Dan Simmons to be more enjoyable to read but obviously the vision of this Chinese Novel Series is Overwhelming.

Good Book. Well written. Creates an atmosphere of slowing mounting tension and dread. The implications are more fearsome instead of the actual facts, as they create an ambivalence in the mind of the reader.
