This is the first KDrama which I have binged watched and finished in 4 days. I watched this for Kim Min Jae whom I had last seen in Dr Romantic. I really liked his performance in both the seasons of Dr Romantic. In DYLB, he is superb. I was pleasantly surprised to read that both he and his FL have themselves played the musical instruments. I loved the pieces played through the entire show. About DYLB, it’s a slow story but the characters have progressed beautifully through out the story. The subtle and restrained romance of the two leads is a joy to watch. Apart from the two leads, all the other actors have also done an exceptional job with each of their characters. What I didn’t like about the show- it’s OST - some of the OST was just too sad and reminded me of the OST in Encounter. At a few points in the show, I almost wanted to give up the show but the two main leads kept me from doing so. Overall, it was definitely worth the time and I have a new found admiration for Kim Min Jae and his art. Definitely a must watch- at least once- kind of show for me .

I am watching Itaewon Class after I watched What’s wrong with Secretary Kim with Park Seo-joon as the Main Lead-Male. I must say it is a class performance by Park Seo-joon!! I have become fan of this versatile actor. The two roles are so different yet he has got under the skin of the character and his performance is outstanding. The story and the rest of the cast is also too good. Kim Da-mi as Jo Yi-seo is also outstanding. The story is gripping and I look forward to each episode with excitement!!
