King's best book (even bought the extended version). If you take the show for what it is and not what you want it to be, it's quite good. The gist of the story is intact, but disjointed by the flashbacks which I've gotten better at catching as the series progresses. The acting is a step above TV, but not Oscar/Emmy quality. Maybe some under-40 viewers unfamiliar with the text will put down their phones and read the book for a more immersive experience. That would be a good flashback for us all.
4 stars instead of 3 to counteract the plethora of 1s from those who lack any gradation in their reviews. (I like it =5; I don't =1)
