My 8 year old liked it, I hated it. It was ugly. The characters were all unpleasant and I didn't care what happened to them. The plot was all over the place and made no sense and the moral of the story was cheesy. It wasn't funny. Overall, it felt like a rip-off of a lot of other children's stories, all jumbled together in a bizarre mess.
