Rikimaru LDR – Google

It was good but now a bit dated. This is what we call a Classic. I came in from Army of Darkness and Ash vs Evil Dead, but I knew what I was getting myself into here - a gory, charming horror that accidently is a comedy. And it's exactly that! First half is kinda funny in an aged way. And the runtime isn't as long - so this is a great watch with some beers and friends just for the gore and goofs. There are some uninteresting parts where I looked at my phone and some of the camera work makes you wonder what is even happening. Second half really gets into the horror with some awesome ideas. I see now why they had to make more of this. I enjoyed a quick watch of this and respect that it's a classic. The Evil Dead series has quickly become a favourite upon discovery - this movie helps cement that.

If you want a show about cute bears acting like humans and want to incorporate a lot more innocence into your life, look no further than this internet-conscious, heart-warming show about three bear brothers. I love it. My little sister loves it. It puts us both in such a good mood after watching a single episode and very little shows do that for me. It's honestly one of my favourite shows now and I have a really tough time getting into shows these days.

1979 - a group of young adult film stars set out to do what they do best: Each other! Seriously tho, the reviews for this film are all over the place! Had me worried, but I found myself immersed in the time period pretty quickly and enjoyed the blood, gore and bluntness of the action. Shot and acted well too I may add! The subversive nature of the movie that kept me guessing throughout. Just know that there are plenty of turns this takes and it's bound to catch you off guard. I saw the trailer a while ago and it's safe to say it didn't show much, but I recommend skipping it anyway and giving this one a shot. Don't expect that A24 'big brain' craziness. Grab a beer and turn all the lights out. X is an above average horror-slasher set in 1979, with plenty of "X" rated material and classic horror elements and nuances. If you're still on the fence after all that, here's a minor spoiler of one death scene: You get to watch a character bleedout to Blue Oyster Cult's 'Don't Fear The Reaper' and it's not cringy or typical, it's really modestly done, excellently shot and acted. It's creepy and awesome and I'll be telling people about this one!

I almost deducted a star because how can you give us something SO GOOD but so short! With my 7hr completion time on the hardest difficulty, Signalis has left me wanting more. Much more! Great visuals, awesome designs, wicked music and that classic survival horror gameplay from a fixed camera POV. But it doesn't go along without giving your head a spin with twists and turns and overall, fantastic direction. Luckily the price tag is one of the most reasonable I've seen in years. And you can even play it on Gamepass! Signalis does survival horror justice. It's haunting! And intriguing. If there is any justice in this world they'll have the creators make another game in the same vein. It's honestly that good, with my only gripe being the shortness.

Only played Witcher 3 prior to watching. While I am eager for the story in the series to progress (because it's set before the 3rd game) I'm happy to report I could watch this for hours on end. I don't do that with a lot of shows. Everything is great. Only thing I can think of that bothers me is the music is lacking sometimes. Not as outstanding as Witcher 3's outstanding soundtrack but you do get a glimpse of it every episode (at the start and end). All actors and actresses are great. Cinematography is great. Effects are great. Locations are great. Monsters and fights are great. Geralt is great too. My father likes it too and him and I have been waiting for something to fill the void Game of Thrones left. Well worth trying out.

Great movie overall. Effects, gore, story, acting, action, design, editing - just about every aspect was good, if not, great. I put it on for a second viewing, but this time with 3 of my unsuspecting friends, and they really liked it too. So much so, they where asking for a sequel. Good watch if you're on your own at night, or if you got a few friends around for drinks and you want a cool survival-horror to put on.

Funny film. Well shot and scored. I'm not one of those "ugh, woke = BAD" people. I just saw a review like that from someone who don't understand what was being said or who the writer/director's comedy is all about. I just enjoyed the movie, the characters and the funny outrageous parts. My dad was in the room. Not even watching, just on the computer. Even he was laughing. Comedy fans or Bill Burr fans will like this one a lot.
